If we were asked to describe the role of a Health Coach, we might answer that our primary focus is to help people lose weight and improve their health through a comprehensive nutritional
program. That answer — although correct — would be only partially right. Certainly, Medifast meal replacements

I was out of shape for many years. I was a workaholic, I loved my job so much
that I had forgotten to take care of myself, until one day I woke up with Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Liver problem, Kidney Problem and the last one is Fibromyalgia.
I was really depressed and frustrated. As a nurse I should have known better so that it would not come to this point. On top
of all I had gained so much weight that I could not find the strength to exercise. My medications were piled one on top of
another including injectible Insulin.
I tried different kinds of diets. I would lose 20 lbs. but would gain 30lbs. This went
on until a friend from Church introduced me to TAKE SHAPE FOR LIFE. This weight loss program really works for me. After 1month I
lost 17lbs. and I now have a lot of energy. My A1C went from 9.5 to 8.3. After 2 months my liver and kidney tests were
normal. After 3 months on the program I lost a total of 35 lbs. and my A1C is now 6.1, my Cholesterol and Blood Pressure are normal and my Insulin requirement dropped from 120 units
twice a day to 5 units twice a day.
I have been able to stop some of my other medications. I am blessed and have a lot of energy
